FS: Regional Champion '99 Impreza 2.5RS Autocross Race/Daily Driver Car looking for a new home

I'll get to the point for the specs of the car:
Year: 1999
Model: Impreza 2.5RS
Trans: 5-Speed Manual
Body: Coupe
Color: White
Miles: 106,xxx
Price: $9,500 o.b.o.

This car was designed to be an STS car for SCCA AutoX [Solo2] Racing. The car has won quite a bit of trophy places such as 2006 SCCA WDCR Regional Class Championship and a quite a few Subaru Challenges from 2005 to the present. The car has probably brought home more than a dozen trophies during the time 2 years of racing and it's been more than reliable for even daily driving. The car was originally bought back in 2005 with the original miles and original motor of 80,000 miles. Since then, the car has a replaced OEM clutch (eventhough the original clutch is still in great shape, so i'll throw that in as part of the spares with this car). The car was taken care of by myself as well as Andrewtech Automotive for the typical head gasket issue known with this car. The motor runs really strong, almost uncanny strong. The motor can last another 100,000 miles without a doubt. No issues with this car other than a once in a while CEL of the knock sensor that may seem like it needs replacing. The trunk weather stripping will need to be replaced since some times you will see the spare tire wheel well collect water, but I quickly solved that by drilling a small drain hole to make sure that the water doesn't collect and rust the car. Minor rusting on the fender lips from the rock chips of the wider tires that I would run, but that can be easily cleaned up and repainted or touched up with touch-up paint. Overall the car from inside and out is very decent for a 9 year-old car. The car does still have some traffic cone markings from running over them during autocrosses, but it should be easy enough to buff out. The rear bumper of the car will need a repaint since it's been chipped up from the daily driving of other people tagging the car with their bumpers [they must be in a trance when looking at the car while they are parking ] Great for anyone wanting a car that is ready-to-run for autocrossing or even as a daily driver. If you want to know, I change the oil on this car every 3000 miles or less.

So here are the parts that are still on the car:
Injen Cold Air Intake
Blitz NurSpec Axleback Exhaust
Stromung Mid Pipe
Cusco Zero-2R Coilovers (Custom Valved with 10kg/mm front and 7kg/mm rear springs)
Cusco Rear WRX 22mm Sway Bar
SSR Competitions 16" x 7.5" Rims (maybe parted out)
Falken Azenis 225/45/16 Tires (70% tread left) (maybe parted out)
5Zigen Heidfeld Generation 1 17"x7.5" Rims
Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 225/45/17 Tires (15% tread left)
plus any OEM spares I have for this car.

I also have more sets of SSR rims and R-compound tires that I can throw in and make the deal more negotiable. No lowballers please, serious buyers for serious drivers who want a serious car. This car handles way better than my 2005 Legacy GT with similar mods. The car has been corner balanced for a 150 lbs driver as well. This is one car that will really satisfy any serious driver. You can contact me through PMs or emailThanks for taking the time to look, here are some and video links (if you need more, just ask):

2008.. 2009.. 2010!!?!

Looking back at almost 30 years of my life, I just felt like I'm just getting started with it.  Just the first 20 years was basically of school and learning how to physically survive in the world.. the later 10 years of my life has taught me that life as an independent person takes more than just the body and physical strength, but what the mind has set forth to accomplish.  All of our first 20 years of our lives, we were told what to do and we all had a general similar goala of doing well in school and move onto making ourselves prosperous and stay healthy.  So what else is there to look forward to life after college?  What is there to gain?  Is there anything that we all wish to gain?  Or do we feel complete enough after the 20 years and the rest is just a cruise?

I thought I had this all figured out when I left college and got a job and move on to accumulating "wealth".  But as I'm nearing the 30-year-old mark in my life, I feel like life is just getting started for me.  I can't say that I've performed terribly as a person, a friend, a coworker, a family member, but things can always be better, way better.  I spend a lot of time reflecting on myself to see what I can do better not just for myself but just in all aspects in life.  Maybe I'm the one that needs to set larger goals in life just so I can motivate myself to do more and gain more "wealth".  Life has so much to offer, yet I'm not the one who's taking advantage of it.  It's just not wealth of materials and money, but a wealth of friends, and the most important part that I would want to have: wealth of love.

I can say that I'm content of how things are, but as always, the grass is greener on the other side of the fence.  Just two more years and I'll be 30.. what then?  What will hold for me by the time 2010 comes around? (wow, it's starting to sound like a beginning of an old science fiction novel).  I hope in the next two weeks full of holidays that I can think of some plan and a set of goals that will make me wake up in life with a purpose again.  Life is so free that we all can do whatever we want to do.  So I'm at a point where I'm asking myself, "so what DO I want to do?"  Of course I still have a lot of things I have fix in the present, but that's a given fact that I'll focus on those things and fix them as quickly as possible.  At this point, I'm trying to learn how to look beyond the repetition of errors.  I can always fall into this cycle [and many people do] of "making a mistake and fixing it with a simple band-aid" as I call it, but I think life has more to offer to me than a 'repeat button'.

Just 2 more years and hopefully a new chapter begins with me accumulating another kind of wealth that I never had before: genuinely good reliable honest friends and a new love for what life has to offer.  As I realized as time goes on, all the money in the world can't get me to a place where I can have a genuine friend or be with people that will respect me and enjoy my company.  I think with my own change on the outlook of life will flip my life around and help the situation.  I can't expect a change in life without changing myself first.

This whole month of December 2007 really shows me of how inadequate I was to recover from all the kinds of physical and mental damages starting from 2003.  Sounds pretty bad eh?  Depends on how the situation is viewed.  Some people can handle it and even do it with flair, while others tend to crack and break down or never recover.  Over the span of 4 years of hardships, it's a lot of work to do recover and fix.  Will it take me another 10 years to fix all the wrong doings that I've done for the past 10?  I hope it'll just take me 5 years.  If I start a new outlook on life now, I may be able to shorten the recovery process within 4 years of hard work.  I just hope that I continue to remember my wrong doings and not repeat them again.

So as far as my New Year's resolution goes for 2008:

-Pull off 50-hour work weeks at a minimum.
(10% annual pay, who's going to complain about that? Besides, that's only 2 hours more each day.. so I leave after the crazy traffic  I think it's better than sitting fustrated in traffic for 1 hour when I could be in the office making money)

-Give racing/driving a break.
(Talk about it being one expensive hobby, but I can't say I regret it since I felt that I've made it this far, much further than I would ever imagine.  At the same time, this gives me some time to rethink about my goals for this passion of mine.. besides, racing isn't going to go anywhere, it's always going to be there for me.)

-Get back into being organized and hold things accountable for everything.
(Lately, I've been too relaxed and not caring as much about my own well being and status in life.  It's time to tighten up and be on top of things once again.)

-Occupy my time by exercising.
(If I find some free time for myself, I'm just going to start burning some calories or find more time to sleep so I can prepare myself for the next day.)

-Be open to more mental coaching.
(I can grow or know how to grow as a person if I don't learn from others, no matter what their background are.  The bottom line is that it's a background that I don't have.)

Next thing I know, 2010 will come around and I should be 90% debt free by then.  Hopefully buying a house will be a smart option to look into doing.  But from my point of view on society and the way money runs this country, I'm only going take a bite out of life that I can chew and swallow rather than trying to battle it out with the big dogs.  Lately I've been hoarding life as if life owed me a ton of happiness. Or trying to keep up with the Jones'.. is that what life is all about to catch up to someone else?  There's got to be another set of ambitions that is worth having and a set of goals to chase... like my own for once?

I just want to close out this decade on a good note! (no pun intended)

It's been awhile hasn't it?  I'll keep it short for a little bit of a summary of this year:

-Worked a lot of over time which was close to 52 hours a week on average

-Moved out, and 6 months later, moved back

-Finished 2nd overall in the Washington DC Region Autocross in my class (STS, Street Touring Street tire)

-Attended over 17 racing events, 7 of which I instructed as a high performance driving instructor

-Raced in the ice/snow (again)

-Participated in 2 Street Survival.org events to teach young adults and new drivers how to drift and control a car

-Dated one person, lasted 3 months

-Attended 4 weddings

-Went to 8 different house parties

-Gone clubbing 3 times (which is 3x as much than I normally do )

-Went to Vegas, was down $200, then up $400, then down again.... came home about $1500 less all said and done.  It was worth it cuz it was that much fun!

-Went to Atlantic City for a bachelor's party

-Went to Ocean City for a weekend

-Average hours of sleep per day: 5
